Cyber3TSSignal

Top  Previous  Next

Cyber3TSSignal is used in conjunction with Cyber3TSPosition and Cyber 3TSLimit.  Open example chart Chapter 3 ITrend limit Intel to view a Trading Strategy built with these indicators.  The example charts are located in the Cybernetic Analysis examples folder in your NeuroShell Trader directory.

These indicators were created to mimic the combination of using a limit price for the ITrend/ITrend Trigger crossover condition and a fast switch to the other side if the trade starts to go against you by a certain percentage.  The Cyber3TSSignal indicator is used in the Trading Strategy on conjunction with the Cyber3TSLimit indicator used as the limit price.

It is also useful to display Cyber3TSSignal indicator separately on the chart to determine when true trading signals are generated.  NeuroShell Trader will generate red and blue triangles as trading signals because the ITrend/ITrend Trigger crossover condition is met, but many of these signals are never filled (denoted by blue and red Xs) because the limit price of Cyber3TSLimit is not met.

Note:  For a better view of the trading signals, format the Y axis on the chart to range between the high and low values of the traded issue.  The Cyber3TSLimit indicator sets artificially high values for the limit price and makes it difficult to view the trading signals.
